The camping and restaurant is for sale. It has good possibility of development, for instance; nature experiences, clear and clean air, fishing, skiing, hiking, cycling, canoeing, sledgedogs, snowshoewalking and much more.
Concentration against foreign groups.

And you need to be 2-3 persons who will run this business.
We are selling because of health problems and that one person can´t run this alone. We can help you at the start with a lot of things if you want.

We are not going to move from Laxviken, we have our own house in the upper village that we like and we also like this area with fishing, the forest and so much more. Hope to hear from someone soon.

Hello and welcome to visit us in Laxviken!
We, Carina and Kenneth with family bought this place in april 2005. We think this is one of the most beautiful places in Sweden to live in and to visit. We have loved it since the first time we visit it. And the people here are very friendly and helpful. We welcome you to visit us and enjoy the beautiful and peacefull nature with a fantastic fishing in many streaming waters and small lakes with trout, alpine char, grayling, pike and perch.

In this village lives about 80 people the year round, but in the summer it´s about three times more people here. In the next village (5km away) lives about 150 people where you also can find a small shop with food and petrol, and a new fishing and handicraft store.

It's not only fishing you can do here...but that's a very common reason for people to come here, we have a lot of good fishingareas close to Laxviken. People come all the way from ex. Italy to fish with flies in the stream. In the summer you can also walk in the wood, or in the mountains and peaks, hike, bike, watch unusal plants protected by law or take a canoe-trip. You can also visit the museum "Laxvikens Skogs & Flottarmuseum", and in Lövsjön about 6km away you'll find a little store with a lot of clothes both cheap and more expensive. In Laxsjö 5km away you'll find a handicraft and fishing store. If you don't want this you can pick berries in the wood (from the middle of july), you can rent a boat or just relax and "do nothing" and breath the fresh air...

CABINS
We have 3 cabins for rent, with 4-beds and kitchenette. A veranda with table and bench to sit on to watch the view of the Hotagen lake with peaks far away.The sun is shining on the cabins all the evening. Pets allowed in two of the cabins. No smoking inside.
Shower, wc and water you'll find in the house next door.

2 WILDERNESS TENTS - build in wood called "KÅTOR"

If you don't want to live in the wildwood so is this a chance to try the experience of the wildlife. They are located around 250m from Turiststugan and there are 3 beds in each of them and a small fireplace inside and outside there is a bigger fireplace.
WC/Shower in the mainhouse and if you want there is a TC (loo)outside, next to the tents.

Service

In the mainhouse "Turiststugan" we serve coffee, sandwiches, food, beer, wine, icecream etc.
You can also buy your fishing license here and we have some fishing flies and anti-mosquito preparation, some handicraft, postcards etc.
